Job Summary: 

Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to support engineering, production and microelectronic process and equipment.

  • This role is responsible for performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the microelectronic manufacturing process.

  • Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge, advance equipment training in various area and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

  • Work is done independently with minimal supervision

  • Employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with electronic assembly processes for SMT CCAs as well as microelectronic assembly processes for MCMs (Multi-chip module) and Hybrids.

  • The hands-on experience on flip chip assembly, compression molding and transfer molding, underfill process, die attach, wire bonding process are preferred.

  • Experience with SMT equipment and process, Stencil & Screen Printing and Solder re-flow equipment and processes.

  • Good communication skills including the ability to deliver effective presentations to peers, management and customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to find root cause of manufacturing process problems, workmanship defects and test failures.

  • Ability to utilize mathematics, handbook formulas, and a variety of precision measuring instruments.

  • Ability to understand maintenance manuals and engineering sketches

 

Education:

Associate's, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

  • AA degree in electronics technology or equivalent training and experience, such as military training

Additional Skills:

  • PLC programming, AutoCAD, tooling design, High Mix-Low Vol experience is a plus.
