Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Location: San Diego, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm

Duration: One Year Plus

Pay: $15 - $15.90 per hour


Position Summary:

Must be: Organized, customer service oriented, flexible, and proficient with MS Office, fast learner, understanding of AP process. 
Preferred: SAP, Supply Chain knowledge. 

1. Clear back log of invoices 
2. Resolve Root Cause 
3. Support Buyers on everyday bases with their invoicing issues 
4. Work on Blocked and Held Report 
5. Work with AP team to help resolve their issues 
6. Work with buyers to resolve blocked invoices in their VIM 

Part Set-up: 
• Assist with the set-up of Part Numbers
• Card set-up (print and laminate) 

Quality Notification: Support Buyers with completing quality notifications (Return to Vendor/RMA, obtaining documentation from Suppliers e.g. packing slips and Cert of Conformance) 

Administrative Support: 
• SharePoint (documentation repository) organization and updating to ensure the latest files are in the right place 
• Ensuring Supplier Contact information is updated 
• Organize metrics in one place (on-time delivery, quality, and service) 
• Supporting the team with tasks 

1. PO creation
2. Follow up with Vendors to make sure all the parts are added to the Order and confirm delivery date and address. 
3. Expedite Orders if need be 
4. Work with PM’s to solve Order issues 
5. Invoice payments 
6. Make sure the orders are hipped and delivered on time 
7. Run reports to place the orders on time
