Job Overview:

Project manager will perform an important role in planning, organizing, coordinating, tracking, reporting, and guiding successful delivery of projects providing business value from inception to completion for the Global Employee Experience organization. The candidate will have experience implementing effective process/technology change, supporting interdependent projects, and driving results through innovation in complex large IT enterprise environments.


The responsibilities of this role include: -

  • Working under close supervision.

  • Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions with limited impact; impact of decisions is readily apparent; errors made typically only impact timeline (i.e., require additional time to correct).

  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information about day-to-day activities to others who are fully knowledgeable in the subject area.

  • Completing tasks that require multiple steps that must be performed in a specific order, using directions or manuals that accurately document the steps necessary to perform the tasks.

  • Using deductive problem solving required to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.

  • Exercising some creativity may be required to troubleshoot technical problems or deal with novel circumstances.

  • Responsible for project management including creation and delivery, helping define related resource requirements and budgets.

  • Develop integrated communication plans

  • Interface with IT, engineering, project management, contracts, finance, business development and other internal company functional groups as required to accomplish program objectives including establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and users.

  • Provide routine project management oversight and reporting (cost, performance, and schedule)

  • Analyze schedules to identify then resolve potential project issues

  • Develop and maintain resource plans and identifies resource gaps and makes plans for mitigating them to achieve objectives. Manages risks, develops mitigation strategies and communicates impacts.

  • Coordinates and partners across all relevant IT, engineering, project management, and supplier groups to ensure approved deliverables are integrated, tested, and launched successfully.

  • Troubleshoots project issues and helps to develop alternative tasks, schedules, milestones, processes etc. to resolve issues. Communicates project status, issues, and recommended mitigation plans to cross-functional core and executive teams

  • Will be responsible for ServiceNow projects


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 3-5 years IT Project Management-relevant work experience

  • Must have strong communication and planning skills, be detailed oriented, well organized, problem solving/analytical, self-directed, team focused, and results oriented individual.

  • Demonstrated project management capabilities including the ability to create and maintain project schedules and plans, the ability to mentor and motivate project teams, and the ability to bring structure into a fast-paced innovative environment.

  • The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to engage multi-faceted, multi-disciplined teams for project management.

  • The candidate must have a proven track record as an overachiever, demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills, and thrive in a complex environment.

  • The candidate must be a solutions enabler that can take business requirements and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to architect, design, and implement IT technical solutions, processes, or projects.

  • The candidate must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and can synthesize complex problem space into understandable and manageable components including the ability to constantly drive for results, knowledge of how to set objectives and break work down into steps, organize and measure people and activities, and manage task inter-dependencies among other stakeholders.

  • Experience leading in a highly-matrixed environment with success attaining goals in a non-top down organization.

  • Presentation and PowerPoint skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of project planning tools and software (Microsoft Project, Visio, etc.) is required.

  • PMP and CSM certifications strongly desired.

  • Working knowledge of semiconductor, intellectual property, or online services businesses are a strong plus.

  • Working knowledge of telecommunications standards are a plus.

  • Prior experience leading committee and corporate governance meetings



Bachelors degree and 3+ years Project Management-relevant work experience OR 6+ years Project Management-relevant work experience without a bachelors degree.
