Responsible for preventative and reparative maintenance of the equipment, process and/or electronics located in the Production and R&D Departments. Prepares and maintains appropriate documents in RAM, Agile and Track-It. Including updating IQ's and OQ's and helping with process protocols. Equipment project work and validations assigned as needed. Follows Good Manufacturing Protocols, (GMP).



  • Conduct Preventive and Reparative Maintenance duties on Production, Manufacturing, Equipment lines.

  • Maintains fixtures, modules, and production equipment. Maintains and writes Equipment Binders (EB), maintenance documents, and performs IQ, OQ's.

  • Help maintain replacement parts. Work with engineering and manufacturers to maintain equipment, processes and/or electronics in a safe and functional condition.

  • Performs Troubleshooting and repairs on equipment, within manufacturing processes and/or electronic schedules.

  • Must be able to use Hand and Power tools, Multimeters, Amp Meters, Manufacture test equipment, Calipers.

  • Knowledge and experience with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electro/Mechanical systems, Resistance welders. Packaging equipment, PLC and Automated production/process equipment.

  • Performs assigned tasks, and activities in the development of equipment, processes and/or electronics.

  • Support equipment, engineering, production processes and/or electronics development projects including assembly and testing of equipment, collecting data and performing basic validations.

  • Ability to perform equipment activities, in equipment development as directed by project engineer with minimum supervision. Activities including assembly and testing of equipment, completing engineering studies and validations.

  • Follow Company Safety and Lock Out/Tag out (LOTO) program.

  • Required to work any shift.

  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as Level 2 Technician and/or understanding of company proprietary equipment.

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or Bachelor degree. (B.A.) college or technical school with equipment related curriculum and 2+years related production equipment and maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Equipment assembly and shop skills including the use of basic shop tools.

  • Need to be familiar with MS Excel, Word and Outlook, plus general computer skills.
